How I can help your business

For many years, I worked for big corporations including the BBC, AOL, IPC, Westfield and Network Ten. I gained so much from those years and I seized opportunities to learn and develop both professionally and personally. I made lifelong friends and I’ve crossed paths with former colleagues at so many points along the way.

Life is very different now. I’m older, wiser and a mother. I’ve reassessed what I want out of life. Of course, there are days when I hanker after my twenty-something days when I’d rush from a full on day in the office to happy hour with friends, stumbling home hours later. On a Monday. But these days, that tends to be more planned and occasional (but still fun). 

Why do I do what I do?

Work isn’t all about status, money and banter now. I want to share my experience, knowledge and creativity with people who will benefit from it. I want to make a difference. 

As a kid, I always thought that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. That was until I did work experience at a primary school. I was scared off royally in those two weeks! Looking back, I can see that underpinning my desire to teach, was actually a desire to help people. Throughout my career, I’ve put myself forward as a mentor. I’ve spent years in managerial positions and I really enjoyed understanding my team members’ challenges, aspirations and outlook and helping them to take steps towards their goals.

Now, I want to use my experience to help small businesses. I can help you to tell your story, to make your brand stand out, to connect with your people. Whether you are a new business starting out or an established business that needs to outsource their content creation, I can help.   • One-to-one phone call (or face-to-face) with me to discuss your current business situation, needs and pain points (up to 1 hour)
  • Website review (either an existing website or plans for an upcoming one)
  • Content strategy
  • 1 month content plan

And after that…

Once we’ve defined your content strategy and the content that works for your business, I can actually create it for you. I can provide ongoing regular content creation (daily, weekly, fortnightly…), planning and analysis. Prices depend upon requirements as each package is tailored to you. To give you a rough guide, a 500 word blog costs from £100.

I thrive on getting to know a brand and its story and finding creative ways to share that with its ideal audience. In other words, I prefer to go steady with my clients rather than have a fling!
